Annie Monks in collaboration with Amarina AARI. A community engagement project aimed at making Lismore safer for women and non-binary people. Creating public artworks with other Aboriginal people who are lving on Bundjalung Country.

Annie Monks was selected as one of 10 artists living in the Northern Rivers on Bundjalung Country to engage in the CONVERGE Program. CONVERGE is an innovative creative enterprise development program, designed to revitalise Lismore’s business centre and elevate the economic and artistic strength of our local creative industries.

Project Pride Lismore - 2024
Project Pride, a festival of art, culture, music, education and fun will run in the first week (1-8) of June. Project Pride is an initiative of a grass-roots group of community members. During this event, Healing Studio hosted two events SISSY: Decolonisng Love and FEMME. These events aimed to bring the LGBTIQ and Aboriginal community together.

Women With Disabilities Australia consultation - 2023
The Neve Project is aimed at keeping women, girls and feminine non-binary people safe from violence. Healing Studio consulted on re-designing their new website section 'staying safe from violence'. Annie Monks was a lead therapist supporting the community consultation groups.
